BMW M2 Competition from iND with new 3D design aero parts!

BMW is one of the most popular car brands in the world, especially when it comes to tuned vehicles. Not only in Germany and Europe do the people of Munich have a sporty image, which above all attracts young men and women who want to be a little faster and more dynamic, but all over the world. And the US tuning company IND, which is known in the tuning scene for special BMW creations, has once again cut one out. This time an M2 is refined and modified according to all the rules of the art. And we already know that from 2019. But now there have been a few new upgrades for the sporty coupe to be even more unique. After all, there are already many off-the-shelf cars. Now we present you the yellow-green splendid specimen in more detail.

Extreme conversion - BMW M2 Competition

It all started with a conventional M2 Competition as it rolls off the production line. IND thought that the already extremely dynamic M2 was still way too common and recently gave Bayern new ones Aero parts of 3D design. Among them are the Front and rear bumpers as well as special side skirts. Furthermore, the Carbon bonnet of a M2 CS, a RKP carbon fiber roof, Und Custom mirror caps built by IND in M3 / M4 style.

In addition to the yellow-green foiling, which incidentally comes from the Porsche shelf, form the three-piece, golden BBS rims the spearhead of the modifications to the M2 Competition. The rims give the coupe a classic look, but in our opinion they bite a little with the yellow-green paintwork. Silver or black alus, as installed in 2019, would probably have resulted in a more harmonious color symbiosis. Regardless ... This is joining KW Clubsport coilover kit with three-way adjustable lintel dome bearings, giving the athlete an even more dynamic appearance.

In addition, there are of course huge ones behind the golden rims Brake discs with a diameter of 380 mmwhich part of a Racing brake system from Brembo. Here, too, the color of the brake calipers is rather unfortunate, as yellow calipers don't really match the rims and exterior paintwork either. But tastes are known to be different, and so this BMW M2 is sure to find its fans.

Racing found its way into the interior.

The interior is bursting with racing elements, and there are those, for example Racing seats from the M4 GTS, which together with Six-point belts form a perfect unit. This joins in Sport steering wheel, which also comes from the M4 GTS. Finally there was another Roll cage installed, which is painted in yellow-green to harmonize with the exterior color.

The three-liter R6 biturbo gasoline engine has around 450 hp.

The racer is powered by a 3-liter twin-turbo in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with a Eventuri intake, remapping and Eisenmann sports exhaust system with downpipe disposes. Equipped in this way, the engine will probably perform 450 PS, and the maximum torque is also above the standard 550 Newton meters.

With these modifications, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h should only be about four seconds, but we do not know whether the top speed has also been increased and the electronic limit has been removed. From our point of view, however, the M2 is ideally suited as a track tool for weekend trips to the racetrack, because with its rear-wheel drive, extensive tuning and the relatively low weight of around 1,5 tons, it is a guarantee of driving pleasure.

Our Conclusion about this BMW M2 Competition from IND:

Technically from our point of view absolutely top, but the color scheme in combination with the rims and the brake calipers takes getting used to and is a matter of taste.
