BMW M3 E92 with Vorsteiner GTRS3 body kit and forged wheels!

All over the world, the BMW M3 is an absolute legend when it comes to tuning automobiles. Started in 1986 on the basis of the then E30 Coupé, it has matured into an absolute cult car in over 30 years. Initially equipped with a four-cylinder engine, the displacement and cylinder mania at BMW culminated in the installation of a high-revving eight-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with four-liter displacement, which was used in the E90 and E92 series. This unit, which is called S65B40 and is closely related to the V10 engine from the BMW M5 of the E60 series at the time, still makes car fans of all ages wet, because the sound of the engine is as infernal as it is terrifying.

This M3 is very special

But now we come to a very special M3, which is making its rounds in Asia and drawing everyone's attention there. The specimen with GTRS3 body kit, race parts and Vorsteiner rims in matt bronze behind the StopTech AP5040 brake system looks as if it had come straight from the field of participants in the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring and got lost there . The perfectly installed extremely wide fenders and the fat side skirts testify to professional tuning and an additional air opening on the right and left next to the typical air scoop of the M3 ensures sufficient cooling air in the engine compartment. For a brutal sound, a Titan Akrapovic exhaust system was installed, which shows the sound quality of the already very sporty standard exhaust system, where the hammer hangs. In order to improve driving dynamics, an Öhlins coilover kit was also installed, which means that the M3 crouches just a few centimeters above the ground and mutates into a ground-to-surface rocket.

Motor with compressor kit from ESS Tuning

As if the modifications to the body were not enough effort, the performance range was also significantly improved, because the M3 got a compressor kit from ESS-Tuning, which is called VT2-625, has charge air cooling, and off the V8 petrol engine teased out 625 hp. The somewhat weak maximum torque of only 400 Newton meters, which is standard, should increase significantly with this kit and be in the range of approx. 700 NM. Unfortunately, no exact data are known about the torque. We estimate that the electronic limit of 250 km / h has also been lifted, and that this M3 easily breaks the 320 km / h mark and is likely to reach 100 km / h in less than four seconds. Incidentally, the example shown is a rare model as a six-speed manual switch.

Interior with motorsport accessories

Last but not least, the interior was also properly modified, and the standard sports seats were replaced by racing bucket seats from Recaro, which are named Hot Tub hear and consist of Kevlar, replaced and installed an M-Performance steering wheel. Unfortunately there is no photo showing the rear of the car, but it may well be that the back seat had to give way completely in order to save weight. The cockpit, on the other hand, remained the only part of the car that was standard, since optical modifications were made even in the engine compartment, as a lettering from ESS-Tuning proves.
