It is undoubtedly the epitome of the compact Bavarian sports sedan and the hearts of BMW fans fly to it in its latest generation as well. Of course we're talking about M3. The initially controversial discussions about the oversized grille have now died down and essential things like performance and driving pleasure are now counting again. Of course, tuning is also on M3 always a big topic and that's why today we would like to introduce you and the BMW fan and tuner to a modified example of the current generation, which is based in England Rhy's stove for a trip to the Winterlude.
Sports sedan with a discreet look!
Foiled in Super Gloss Violet, this one pulls otherwise moderately finished M3 all eyes on you immediately. At the Suspension individually adjustable springs of the MSS Extra Low type were installed, which can be set extremely low in order to achieve the lowest possible ground clearance. They are joined by R44 Performance X West Forged RH82 rims, which have a diameter of 19 inches on the steering axle and 20 inches on the drive axle.
In our opinion, the forged double-spoke wheels with a shiny chrome finish look great on the potent Bavarian. The R44 Performance MHC Plus SP1 carbon splitter at the front, which together with the GT grille, SKI side skirts and a CS-style rear spoiler ensures a sporty look, is the icing on the cake of the M3. An OEM+ diffuser and OLED taillights from MHC were also installed at the rear. Last but not least, the sports sedan also got an R44 performance titanium exhaust system with a 200-cell sports catalytic converter.
In the interior, almost everything remained series!
Only a SHFT G8x sports steering wheel with a leather/Alcantara rim found its way into the cockpit. Otherwise, the interior has remained untouched so far.
650 hp for a hallelujah!
The three-liter in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with biturbo charging was pushed to 2 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Newton meters using Stage 700 remapping and an Arma Speed carbon intake system. But that's not the end of the story, as the tuner is already planning the next performance upgrades, but unfortunately we don't have any further information about them yet. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission (M Steptronic). Unfortunately, we have no information on the exact driving performance after the tuning.
Our conclusion:
- A performance monster in civilian clothes slumbers here. For this, tuner Rhys Herd gets a compliment from us and we are sure that BMW fans will like the vehicle. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
Don't worry, of course that was far from being the case when it came to auto / auto tuning. Our magazine still has tens of thousands other tuning reports in stock. Do you want to see them all? Then just click HERE and look around. Or you can read through the following thematically appropriate vehicle reports. Another interesting vehicle is sure to be included.
