There it is, the official successor to the legendary GTS, Sport Evolution, CSL and all GT special models from the manufacturer BMW. The BMW M4 F82 CS, whose S55B30 BiTurbo six-cylinder has gained 460 hp. This makes it stronger than a normal M4 and a few kilograms lighter. The CS closes the gap to the exclusive M4 GTS. With an empty weight of 1580 kilograms, it is 30 kilograms lighter than a normal M4 and the designation “CS” even brings a new order and nomenclature into the BMW hierarchy. The "normal" M4 models are basically the basis, then comes the Competition Line and above that the CS Sport model. The GTS is of course right at the top. The CS is the wild and unadjusted of the M4 series. This is also how the suspension experts from BMW Motorsport technology partner H&R see it. Nevertheless, they wanted to “take their measurements” again personally and fine-tune the “gap filler”. This works best with individual sport springs that are perfectly matched to the modification of the standard suspension.

They ensure that the 19- and 20-inch forged wheels disappear a further 30 millimeters on the front axle and 20 millimeters on the rear axle in the wheel arches. It looks perfect optically and it feels the same for the driver. The lower center of gravity in combination with the H&R spring characteristics ensure an even better lateral position and more bite when turning. The sport springs are now available for the M4 CS, including a certificate - but drivers of a “normal” M4, a GTS and all other models in the 4-series can also benefit from the chassis components. The look can soon be rounded off with “Trak +” wheel spacers, because H&R is currently preparing various dimensions for the M4.
