It should be one of the most popular models when it comes to serving as a tuning object. The BMW M4 is loved and refined by BMW fans around the world and has clearly set itself ahead of the M3 (F80). Above all, the coupé version is often made even sharper, although it already offers a very sporty look as standard and, for example, the phenomenal M4 GTS flows. The vehicle we presented, which is making its rounds in the USA, was, for example, with a good portion of parts from the American tuning company Dinmann upgraded to get a very special look that should really distinguish it from the various M4 models around the world.

A racer of the purest water.

Even with the extra-light HRE-R101 lightweight rims, you can tell that this M4 has been especially trimmed for racing and lightweight construction, and the RK Titanium exhaust system ensures an infernal sound, which you are used to from an M4 already in series trim However, the new exhaust system makes it look even more saturated and powerful. The black-look Dinmann front bumper in particular provides the tiller with a particularly sporty look, which can also be crouched just a few millimeters above the ground with the help of an Airride chassis. The chassis that helps the BMW to achieve this dynamic comes from AirLift-Performance and has 3P control. There is also a rear spoiler from Dinmann and racing mirrors on the vehicle, which also come from the tuning company. The whole vehicle shows the wide range of products offered by Dinmann, such as a rear diffuser, which is kept in a sporty racing style and houses a four-pipe exhaust system from RK. Peppered with the changes mentioned, the M4 is an absolute eye-catcher, which would make an excellent figure at any BMW meeting, and puts various tinkered BMWs in the shade, which their owners defaced with hardware store tuning. Unfortunately, we have seen this increasing again lately!

Changes inside and outside

In addition to a sports steering wheel, extra light Dinmann Blue Kevlar racing bucket seats were installed in the interior. Otherwise, the interior looks largely standard, and offers the usual comfort of the M4, which also cuts a fine figure as a Gran Turismo suitable for travel.

Engine optimized through various measures.

The biturbo inline six-cylinder with 3 liter displacement, which provides 431 hp and 550 Newton meters maximum torque as standard (first models), was additionally optimized by an intake manifold from Eventuri and chip tuning by Burger Motorsport, which bears the name JB4. The unit now delivers over 500 hp and catapults the 2018 M4 into the league of 500 hp sports cars. In addition, the unit has been revised so that you can also use it E85 ethanol can operate, which increases the performance again, with lower CO2 emissions. Equipped like this, the M4 should undercut the magical 4-second mark in the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h, but unfortunately we do not know whether the top speed, which is limited to 250 km / h as standard, has also been increased. This doesn't matter on US highways anyway, because there are strict speed limits that should be adhered to with such a bullet. The power is transmitted via the factory 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which ensures a high level of shifting comfort.

This copy is an absolute piece of cream.

Every BMW fan will be watered when they see the M4, and this professionally tuned example from the United States illustrates the unusually large tuning potential of the M4 (F82).
