Somehow I get a gasp whenever I read that someone BMW M4 F82 GTS modified Has. Back when you were at the Tokyo Motor Show (October 2015) the special model M4 GTS, which is based on the Coupé, was once again shown in an impressive way what the BMW engineers are capable of. The M700, limited to 4 copies, was sold out in November 2015, and of course with good reason. The S55B30 engine comes from the normal M4 and has been significantly modified. In the special model, it delivers a whopping 368 kW (500 hp) through water injection and allows the sporty coupé to accelerate to 3,8 km / h in just 100 seconds. More is hardly possible with rear-wheel drive! In addition, there was a world first in a production car, the chic OLED taillights that are slowly but surely finding their way into the successor models. And AUTOcouture Motoring has now taken on just such a GTS and was of the opinion that something can still be optimized! And what should I say? It is true…
At the rear one installed a PSM Dynamic Carbon rear diffuser and the standard high-rising rear spoiler was RKP Black Wing Risers raised again and is now even higher. And the front has also changed because there was a set of Sterckenn carbon front covers which, like many details around and in the interior, are highlighted in acid orange. A highlight is of course the new wheel set that comes from HRE Performance Wheels and shows the type S101 (forged rims) and adapts to the color. The alpine white GTS is impressively rounded off with a few discreet goodies such as the Eventuri carbon back shells, the painted roll bar or the AutoTecknic gearshift paddles. The ultimate proof that a few changes can still be made to an almost perfect vehicle without completely changing the vehicle. If we get more information about the modifications to the GTS, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
