Two power levels are offered: In addition to a 353 kW / 480 PS variant with 6-speed manual transmission, both models will also be available as a competition model with 375 kW / 510 PS and 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic. The M TwinPower Turbo technology and the high-speed concept of the engines inspire with performance characteristics derived directly from racing - without restricting the traditionally high level of everyday practicality for BMW M models.

In order to bring the motorsport DNA of the new BMW M3 Sedan and the new BMW M4 Coupé even more to the fore, an extensive range of M Performance Parts will also be available for the market launch of the two models in March next year. With them, the distinctive design can be skilfully individualized and the driving dynamics qualities can be further increased. The high-quality accessories were developed together with BMW M GmbH on the basis of the experience gained on the world's race tracks and the extensive know-how of its motorsport experts. The components, which are specifically tailored to the characters of the new BMW M3 Sedan and the new BMW M4 Coupé, sharpen the already extremely sporty appearance. In most cases, they also meet functional requirements in terms of lightweight construction and aerodynamics - and thus noticeably increase the already outstanding dynamic properties of the two new high-performance models.

Chassis and sound with an even closer connection to motorsport.

The M Performance titanium silencer system is a perfect example of how M Performance Parts not only sharpen the look in most cases, but also improve performance weighs around five kilograms less than the standard component and, with its optimized exhaust system, ensures an even sportier driving experience. The highly emotional, racing-like sound is adapted to the individual driving programs. The four tailpipe trims made of titanium with a ceramic coating ensure the correspondingly distinctive look.

The M Performance sports suspension, which was developed and tuned on various racetracks, also creates a direct link to motorsport. The coilover kit allows a stepless reduction in ground clearance between five and 20 millimeters (recommended lowering -10 mm compared to the M base model). With the damper setting unchanged, the driver benefits from a lower center of gravity, reduced rolling movements and, as a result, even higher cornering speeds. In addition to the increased driving dynamics qualities, the lowering also has a positive effect on the sporty look.

Derived directly from the BMW Motorsport endurance racing pads, the M Performance sport brake pads guarantee shorter braking distances, better responsiveness and greater thermal load capacity. Drivers in particular who would like to explore the performance potential of their BMW M3 Sedan or M4 Coupé often on the racetrack will be particularly impressed by the particularly dynamic turning in when braking into a curve compared to the standard configuration.

The highlight of the wheel range for summer is the BMW M Performance forged wheel cross-spoke 1000M in gold bronze matt or jet black matt with M Performance lettering. The wheels are available in the dimensions 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, which are only available through M Performance Parts.

For safe driving even in snow and ice, M Performance Parts also offers the complete winter wheel 19 inch double spoke 829M that can be fitted with snow chains. The black matt painted rim is perfectly equipped for winter conditions and is particularly easy to clean. The M Performance tire bags are recommended for optimal storage and convenient transport of the unmounted wheel set. They are suitable for 17 to 22 inch complete wheels, protect them from dirt and, thanks to their respective markings, guarantee clear tire allocation. With their distinctive M Performance design, they also exude a good portion of racing atmosphere in the garage at home.

Carbon and Alcantara reinforce motorsport flair in the interior.

Customers can also upgrade the sporty, comfortable interior of their BMW M3 Sedan or BMW M4 Coupé in many ways, optically and functionally with components from the M Performance Parts range that are inspired by motorsport. As soon as the doors are opened, the M Performance door sill finishers with carbon inlay and colored M Performance lettering convey a pure motorsport atmosphere. The perfectly matching M Performance floor mats for the front and rear also transport the extremely dynamic exterior design into the vehicle interior with their M Performance lettering, a flag in the M colors and a leather-look edging including decorative stitching in contrasting colors. The M Performance carbon interior trim also contributes to this. They inspire with their fascinating combination of open-pored, matt sealed carbon and elegant Alcantara. In addition to the standard leather-covered steering wheel cover, the M Performance carbon / Alcantara steering wheel cover and the M Performance carbon / leather steering wheel cover, each with M Performance lettering, are optionally available. The M Performance steering wheel can also be upgraded with the M Performance carbon shift paddles, which are covered with an open-pored carbon fabric instead of the standard chrome surface.

The M Performance slide set for the BMW LED door projectors guarantees particularly eye-catching effects when getting in and out. With it, the BMW M logo and other M Performance motifs can be projected onto the asphalt when the door is opened. When locking and unlocking the vehicle, the driver can experience the M Performance idea visually and haptically with the M Performance key pouch made of high-quality Alcantara with a carbon insert. The Allen screw in M ​​light blue firmly connects the case to the vehicle key, which can be easily turned into the case, effectively protecting it from scratches and damage.

The M Performance Indoor Car Cover reliably protects the vehicle parked in the garage from dirt and scratches.
