Slowly but surely it's time to say goodbye to the BMW M5 F10. The fifth generation of the M5 was presented to the public at the International Motor Show (IAA) in 2011 and, as is usual at BMW, ended its production cycle after approx. 6 years. Even before that happens, we will miss the S600T V63 engine with up to 8hp with M-TwinPower turbo technology. But to be honest, we said that with the S85B50 V10 from the E60, the S62B50 from the E39 and also the S38B38 from the legendary E34. Did we forget one? Yes we have, namely the original M5 (E28S) with M88 / 3 six-cylinder and then phenomenal 286PS. As you can see we have been paying attention!

But no matter whenever the new M5 F90 with V8 biturbo and a good 600PS comes on the market, the current F10 will be a loyal companion until then that does not have to hide. The rim manufacturer Avant Garde Wheels would like to make our farewell a little more difficult and yesterday posted a black M5 with chic 21 inch M590 alloy wheels with a polished surface on its page. But not only the rims set the M5 apart from the production model, but also other modifications. For example, a subtle carbon body kit was installed on the M5. The set consists of a front spoiler, new side skirts, a rear spoiler and a diffuser.
In addition, the M5 has been lowered a little and with this combination is extremely stylish and dynamic. By the way, on this vehicle the obligatory black kidneys and gills were not installed, but a chrome-plated set does its job here. Visually, I think the chrome style in connection with the black paintwork looks very good and this combination proves that it doesn't always have to be the dark M-Performance parts. The Avant Garde Wheels team has released the F10 the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures. After the tuning cure that the M5 was allowed to endure, it is now visually discreetly changed and much more individual than the production version without exaggerating or looking chubby. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying an M5 F10 for a long time or you are even a happy owner, Avant Garde Wheels is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to finding a few new rims.
