At the end of December, the Japanese tuner 3D Design launched the tuning program for the BMW Roadster Z4 presents. And now it continues with the 8er. And both vehicles were at the Tokyo Auto Show 2020 (Date: 10. Jan. 2020 - 12. Jan. 2020) at the 3D Design booth. While we already knew the portfolio for the Z4, the aerodynamic parts for the 8 (Exhibition vehicle is an M850i G15 Coupe) but new. The 3D Design M850i celebrated its official world premiere in Tokyo last weekend and of course we don't want to withhold the luxury coupe with Japan parts. 3D design is common, the components are largely made of carbon and very filigree.

Sill swords / rear spoiler lip

The front apron got a sporty one front spoilerAttachment and a diffuser insert has been installed on the apron for the rear. The new components are already completed with small sill swords and a rear spoiler lip. And the result fits! The components are - in our opinion - very coherent and underline the sporty, elegant lines of the G15 to the full. The 20-inch BiColor TYPE III FORGED, on the other hand, are clearly a matter of taste forged wheels which also come from 3D-Design. The rim base has been painted in body color especially for the knife vehicle and is ensured by lowering (coilover) for a real eye catcher.

Sport exhaust system with carbon tailpipes

And Last but not least there was also an in-house sports exhaust system with tailpipes including carbon sheathing for a befitting soundscape. In contrast to the series, 3D design relies on the look of the M8 with four round tailpipes. In the cabin comes a sports steering wheel with aluminumshift paddles for use which can alternatively also be made of carbon. If we receive timely information about further changes from 3D Design for the 8er BMW, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
