After the BMW i8 Roadster LimeLight BMW Italy has now another cooperation with Alcantara (the company is called like the material) announced. And with exactly 50 vehicles as the so-called X5 Timeless edition based on the current G05 X5 xDrive30d with in-line six-cylinder. And the result is just as spectacular as with the i8! The atmosphere in the cabin is taken one step higher by installing several tons of Alcantara. In combination with real leather, fine fabrics and various "Powerd by ALCANTARA" badges with "Timeless Edition 1/50" lettering, individuality is taken to the extreme. The artificial leather developed in Italy can be seen partly in a perforated version, through which you can see gray Alcantara as a background shimmer. The new leather interior can be found on the seats, the door panels, the armrests and the entire headliner.

And you didn't stop at the trunk and lined it with Alcantara. Every millimeter is covered with the noble material and the luxury interior is rounded off with the mentioned Timeless edition Clues. And as a nice gimmick, each of the 50 vehicles comes with an Alcantara bag to the new owner, which of course harmonises perfectly with the vehicle interior. In contrast to the rather striking exterior of the i8 linked above, the X5 is very discreet on the outside. Externally, you leave the special model, namely in the innocent white. The difference to the series only becomes visible when the doors are opened. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
