We have good news and bad news about this jet black BMW X5M F85! First the good... We received a lot of pictures from the Chinese tuner EDO Tuning! Now the bad one... We have absolutely no information about the changes! 🙄 So we have to concentrate on what we can see in the pictures. We start at the rear of the X5M. Here you built a carbon diffuser which contains a sports exhaust system that has 4 tailpipes with carbon sheathing. In addition to the diffuser, there was a subtle spoiler lip on the tailgate and a roof spoiler was optionally attached. It also seems as if the taillights are slightly darkened and this may have been achieved by means of a glaze. In this country an unthinkable gimmick that immediately causes the vehicle to be shut down, but not really a problem in many other countries, and especially in China. And there were also changes at the front, a striking carbon front spoiler that is perfectly integrated into the bumper and of course the obligatory black BMW M Performance Parts kidneys and gills are not missing.
The carbon aerodynamic parts could possibly be 3D Design Parts, but that's not the case. And the chassis also got a completely new set-up and so the X5 was lowered a good bit and also a new wheel / tire combination is installed. The rims look very much like 22 Zöller and the design is reminiscent of the ENERGY Individual TYPE4 Alu's which we have recently seen on the phenomenal "The Dark Knight" BMW i8 with Energy Motorsport body kit have seen. A look through the spokes of the new aluminum rims reveals that the brake system has also been revised and here you can now rely on a system from Brembo that gives the X5 a touch of color with its gold-painted brake calipers. Maybe we're lucky and EDO Tuning will post something about the changes, if this is the case you will of course be the first to know.
