In cooperation with Meindl (by Markus Meindl) created this beautiful BMW X6 M Competition Showcar (F96), which, in addition to a successful appearance on the outside, particularly draws attention to itself with a fantastic interior design. Because the cabin is covered with chamois tanned deerskin in antique black, in the style of typical lederhosen. Meindl's tanneries created the material according to ancient craftsmanship, which means it takes several months to be ready for processing and the look was achieved using only natural means. And the result is more than just something to be proud of. Because the result ensures that the BMW X6 M Meindl Edition became unique. Incidentally, the X6 has the BMW Individual special paint finish Urban Green.
Meindl Edition as One Off
If BMW can bring itself to build the Meindl Edition in small series (it is not excluded by BMW), then the vehicle is equipped with many Meindl deerskin edition items. The seat and backrest surfaces with the map pockets, the interior strips, the door pulls, the armrests, the sun visor, the center console, the floor mats (in black) and there is even an insert for the trunk are covered with leather. It is doubtful whether a possible small series will go into series production in such detail. Incidentally, every part produced is unique due to the manual work, which of course also applies to every (possible) other vehicle.

The X6 M Incidentally, Meindl Edition made its debut in the second half of 2022 and is based on a competition model with 625 hp from the Individual catalogue. We are curious to see whether BMW and the German fashion brand Meindl will actually start a limited small series. It remains to be seen whether the steering wheel, the roof liner and even the pillar trim will also be covered in leather. Incidentally, it should also be mentioned that there is an additional charge of around €50.000 compared to the X6 M Competition.
