This bright yellow BMW Z4 with Alfa Romeo grille and Alfa rims stood in a parking lot Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este last weekend. Photographed by Helen Wakerley and first on Carscoops published shows the E89 with Alfa Romeo grille, With Alfa emblems and with a set of the well-known telephone wheels by Alfa Romeo. The yellow Z4 has lost most of its characteristic BMW elements and trim, including the typical kidneys. At the same time, the apron on both sides is still clearly Z4. But in the middle you placed the Alfa-typical Scudetto grille in black from an Alfa Romeo Giulia and also relocates the license plate corresponding. Although the manner of the modifications seems to have been implemented well, the end result is still rather ugly. Even if the V-shaped line of the long bonnet of the Z4 has been well integrated in the direction of the Alfa Romeo emblem, the space next to it up to the headlights is more or less too big, in our opinion.
BMW Z4 with Alfa Romeo grill & alloy wheels
The Alfa Romeo alloy wheels in the five-hole design, on the other hand, fit perfectly with the roadster proportions on the Z4, especially with the gray paintwork as a contrast to the bright yellow and the red brake calipers. Even Alfa Romeo emblems on the fenders and a "Roadster" sticker have been thought of. Unfortunately we don't have any photos of the stern, but we suspect that there is at least one Alfa Romeo emblem will be present. Whether there were mechanical modifications is unclear. We know, of course, that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". However, we have examined the vehicle extensively and have come to the conclusion that it definitely belongs in our tuning fail category because WE do not consider it beautiful. What is your opinion about this? Beautiful or not so beautiful? Please leave a comment here!
Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
