Subtle body kit from MTR Tuning for the Audi Q8 SUV

With the Q8, Audi has launched an adequate counterpart to the successful BMW X2018 and the Mercedes GLE Coupe since 6. And actually, the Q8 SUV is also the most expensive of all Q models of the first SUV coupé from the Bavarian premium brand. With a new price of at least 74.900 euros for the 45 TDI with 231 hp or 77.900 euros for the 50 TDI quattro with Tiptronic and 286 hp, of course you keep to the competition in terms of remuneration and make no gifts here. If you then select a few options in the configurator from the extensive surcharge list, you will quickly reach the six-digit range. But in the last few days vehicles have appeared on the network with standard equipment (LED headlights, 19 inchers, adaptive chassis etc.) and even a few goodies like a sound system with ten speakers, hill start assistant, individual colors and equipment options are almost 15.000 euros cheaper than normal!

MTR design body kit for the Q8

So there is a lot of capital left to customize the Q8 with a nice body kit, for example. And besides the well-known tuners like ABT, LUMMA or Prior Design calls the refiners, which are rather unknown in this country, such as the Japanese supplier Rowen International and - brand new - the Russian team from MTR design on the plan. They have developed a filigree body kit for the Q8 that underlines the factory design with subtle changes. The body kit is made of ABS plastic and gives the front apron a large front spoiler and the rear bumper is elegantly refined using a diffuser-look attachment. There is also a carbon spoiler lip for the tailgate and, on request, MTR can also fit matching tailpipes for the recesses in the rear apron.

The photo vehicle has also been discreetly lowered (possibly by lowering the factory air suspension) and with accents in high-gloss black (Grille, apron inserts etc.) equipped. And soon there will be a few more carbon applications for the Q8 to skillfully round off the body kit. In our opinion, the small MTR aerodynamic kit fits the Q8 perfectly and is a welcome alternative to the previously known suppliers.
