The BRABUS wolf in sheep's clothing: With the new BRABUS 800 supercar based on the Mercedes E 63 S 4MATIC + of the 2021 model year, the Bottrop-based tuner is once again offering high performance in its purest form. And that in the subtle outfit of a Mercedes E-Class sedan, which is further enhanced visually and dynamically with tailor-made carbon fiber aerodynamic components and 21-inch high-tech forged wheels. Alternatively, the T-model can also be converted to this version.

4.0-liter eight-cylinder biturbo engine

The heart of the new supercar is the 4.0-liter eight-cylinder biturbo engine, which the BRABUS engine engineers have increased to 588 kW / 800 PS peak output and 1 Nm torque. This catapults the four-door car to 000 km / h in just 3,0 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 100 km / h. A high-performance exhaust system with electronic sound management is just as much a part of the BRABUS portfolio as a lowering module. Further individual customer requests can also be met down to the last detail with an exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior.

The turbocharged four-liter eight-cylinder in the current Mercedes E 63 S 4MATIC + has an output of 450 kW / 612 PS ex works. With the know-how from more than 40 years of engine tuning, the engine engineers from Bottrop developed a particularly powerful performance upgrade for the Mercedes E 63 S 4MATIC +, which, unlike most other providers, is not only TÜV-tested, but of course also with BRABUS Tuning Guarantee® for 3 years up to 100 kilometers (according to BRABUS guarantee conditions, as of July 000).

BRABUS 800 type designation

In order to do justice to the BRABUS 800 type designation, specially configured high-performance turbochargers were developed which, in addition to a larger compressor unit, also have a modified trunk group with reinforced axial bearings. They produce a maximum boost pressure of 1,6 bar.

In addition, the BRABUS PowerXtra module is connected to the electronic engine management using plug-and-play technology. This additional control unit feeds special maps for injection, ignition and boost pressure control. In order to supply the engine with enough breathing air, special air inlets made of carbon were developed, which were integrated into the radiator grille on the left and right. The two vertical, red Signature Stripes are designed in exactly the same color as the characteristic BRABUS engine cover.

The BRABUS B40S-800 performance kit was developed and tested in a complex series of tests using the latest test bench technology and driving tests. This not only achieved outstanding performance, but also flawless stability, which is characteristic of every engine from the Bottrop-based manufacture.

After the conversion, 138,4 kW / 188 hp more peak power and 150 Nm more torque are available. With an enormous 588 kW / 800 PS at 6 rpm and a torque of 600 Nm at just 1 tours, the BRABUS 000 is one of the most powerful sedans and station wagons in the world.

3,0 seconds from standing to 100

The driving performance is accordingly outstanding: the combination of the BRABUS high-performance motor, the nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be switched automatically or manually using the ergonomically shaped BRABUS RACE aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel, and 4MATIC + all-wheel drive accelerates the sedan in just 3,0 seconds the stand on Tempo 100. The T-model needs a tenth of a second more. The top speed is electronically limited to 300 km / h for both body variants.

Drivers who want to permanently deactivate the standard automatic start-stop system can order the BRABUS start-stop memory system. This function is permanently switched off at the push of a button. The system recognizes the last status and saves this setting until it is reactivated manually.

Of course, BRABUS also gives the owner of every E 63 S 4MATIC + an acoustic treat: the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system made of stainless steel with four stainless steel / carbon tailpipes not only optimizes the power delivery by reducing the exhaust back pressure: the engine sound can also be varied with the integrated exhaust flaps: The driver can choose the discreet, deliberately quiet “coming home” mode. In the open "Sport" position, the V8 produces an extra powerful sound.

BRABUS carbon fiber aerodynamic parts

The sporty appearance can be dynamically upgraded with sporty, elegantly styled BRABUS exposed carbon aerodynamic parts, which can be ordered with either a high-gloss or matt coating. Together with the BRABUS air inlets on the left and right in the radiator grille, the front spoiler lip gives the supercar, whether sedan or station wagon, an even more striking face. The aerodynamic part reduces the lift on the front axle at high speeds and thus optimizes driving stability.

The BRABUS rear spoiler on the trunk lid of the sedan was shaped in such a way that it generates downforce on the rear axle and thus achieves an optimal aerodynamic balance. For both body variants there is also a carbon diffuser insert for the rear apron, which perfectly frames the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sports exhaust and completes the sporty design package.

The exclusive BRABUS look naturally also includes tailor-made light alloy wheels, which are available for all E 63 models in various dimensions up to 21 inches in diameter. The vehicle shown here shows the forged BRABUS Monoblock "PLATINUM EDITION" Z forged rims, which were not only painted in the same color as the car, but also provided with pinstriping in the same contrasting color to match the red signature stripes in the radiator grille. The rims in a filigree ten-spoke design are manufactured in a high-tech forging process and combine lightness with maximum strength. 9Jx21 wheels with 255/30 ZR 21 tires are used on the front axle. 10.5/21 ZR 295 tires are mounted on the rear 25Jx21 rims. The BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply the optimal high-performance tires for this combination.

exclusive interior refinement

This not only wins the look of the BRABUS 800, but also makes handling even more agile with this wheel / tire combination. An effect that can be further optimized with the BRABUS Sports Unit for the standard air suspension. By selecting the driving program, depending on the choice of the available modes Comfort, Sport or Sport +, a lowering of ten or twenty millimeters can be achieved.

Another BRABUS specialty is exclusive interior refinement, which is of course also available for the new Mercedes E 63 S 4MATIC +. Stainless steel door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo, which changes color to match the ambient lighting in the interior, welcome the crew. Sporty cockpit features such as BRABUS door pins and aluminum pedals are also part of the product range.

Further individual wishes of the vehicle owner can be fulfilled in the in-house saddlery. The finest leather and Alcantara are processed here to create an extravagant BRABUS fine leather interior. The variety of colors and upholstery designs is practically limitless. In addition, there are precious wood or real carbon inlays, which can also be made to measure in a wide variety of colors and designs.
