The South African-based tuner RACE! South Africa presented a completely rebuilt Mercedes AMG GT this morning and this comes under the brand new label "BRABUS by RACE!". With this department, the company specializes in in-house conversions Brabus and the GT is the first project. Already in the year 2015 Brabus has its discreet Bodykit presented for the Stuttgarter and beyond that a performance increase on 600 PS and 750 Newtonmeter torque. And it's exactly these components that RACE has! SOUTH AFRICA on and in a black GT and we have to show you the car of course.
The carbon body kit, which costs more than 24.000 euros, comes with a new front spoiler, side skirts, a striking rear wing and a diffuser for the rear apron. The air inlet covers in the front or the air outlets in the front fenders also come from the Bottrop tuner and can be ordered in a glossy or matt finish in the vehicle or contrasting color. For this vehicle, it was decided to use carbon fiber. A glossy black 20 & 21 inch cross-spoke wheel set was also installed (Platinum Edition Monoblock F forged rim) in the dimensions 9.5Jx20 front and 11Jx21 rear the wheel arches thanks to subtle lowering (eventually lowering springs -15 mm) Fills perfectly.
If we are properly informed, the wheelset is also equipped with 275 / 30 R20 front tires and 305 / 25 R21 rear tires. Not to be missed is of course the four-flow Brabus titanium exhaust system (40 is one percent lighter than the series) which is equipped with flap control and has carbon tailpipes. Everything on the GT is either in black or visible carbon fiber and that also applies to the Brabus emblem instead of the Mercedes star and even for the hub caps of the rims.
And even the interior carries a lot of Brabus Parts and so comes the GT with carbon door sill panels including stainless steel inserts, new pedals and paddles made of aluminum and new leather. - 3,6 seconds from zero to one hundred (series: 3,8 seconds)
- Top speed 325 km / h (Series: 310km / h)
- four-pipe titanium exhaust system (40 percent lighter), flap control with two modes ("Coming Home" - quieter and the flap position open)
- Body kit made of carbon (front spoiler, side skirts, rear wing, diffuser, air inlet cover at the front, air outlets in the front fender - all carbon parts in a glossy or matt finish or in the vehicle or contrasting color)
- 20 + 21-inch large cross-spoke wheels in glossy black (9.5Jx20 inch front and 11Jx21 inch rear)
- Tires 275 / 30 R20 front and 305 / 25 R21 rear
- optional lowering springs (-15 millimeters)
- Interior with stainless steel & leather (carbon door sills incl. Stainless steel inserts, new pedals and shift paddles made of aluminum)
