Brabus Mercedes GLE 350de receives 354 PS & 820 NM!

BRABUS has been developing high-performance automobiles with alternative drives for more than a decade. With the BRABUS PowerXtra ELECTRIC D35E performance upgrade for the new Mercedes GLE 350 de 4MATIC (V 167) with hybrid drive, both the diesel and the electric motor are tuned. As a result of these measures, the system output increases to 260 kW / 354 PS and the system torque to 820 Nm. This means that the hybrid SUV has increased its dynamics and sovereignty when driving. The sprint from 0 - 100 km / h only takes 6,5 seconds, the top speed increases to 215 km / h. BRABUS performance enhancements are of course also available for models in the GLE class that are conventionally powered by petrol or diesel. The extensive BRABUS exclusive program for the new SUV series includes sporty, elegant styled design components, tailor-made wheels up to a maximum of 23 inches in diameter, a lowering module for the air suspension and exclusive interior design. Of course, BRABUS supplies all components with the BRABUS Tuning Guarantee®, which is exemplary for the entire industry, for 3 years up to 100 kilometers (according to BRABUS guarantee conditions, as of July 000).

BRABUS PowerXtra ELECTRIC D35E

The GLE 350 de 4MATIC has a plug-in hybrid drive consisting of a two-liter, four-cylinder turbo diesel and an electric motor. In order to elicit even more dynamism from the drive, the engine engineers and electronics technicians at the Bottrop-based company developed the BRABUS PowerXtra ELECTRIC D35E performance upgrade, of which there is also a tailor-made version for the Mercedes C 300 de. The BRABUS module for the turbodiesel engine elicits 22 kW / 31 hp more from the diesel engine and increases the torque by 50 Nm. The additional control unit for the electric drive provides 10 kW / 14 HP more power. This results in a system output that is 25 kW / 34 PS higher at 260 kW / 354 PS. Even more impressive is the increase in the system torque from the standard 700 to 820 Nm, which results from an 80 Nm higher torque for the electric drive and 50 extra Nm for the diesel engine.

This means that the hybrid SUV is making gains in all areas, whether in pure electric operation or in combined operation with the turbodiesel. This not only results in an even more agile driving experience on the road, but also further optimized pulling power, which is also welcome in off-road use. This can also be seen in the driving performance data: from a standstill, the all-wheel-drive car only needs 6,5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. The GLE 350 de increases its top speed to 215 km / h. BRABUS performance upgrades will be available for many more hybrid models from Mercedes-Benz in the future. Of course, the BRABUS engine engineers also developed powerful and stable performance upgrades for the various conventional engines of the V 167 series, whether gasoline or turbodiesel. Some performance kits are also available in versions for the new GLS-Class of the X 167 series. Of course, always TÜV-tested and with a guarantee! BRABUS PowerXtra D30 for GLE 300 d 4MATIC

There are BRABUS PowerXtra kits for the turbodiesel models GLE 300 d, 350 d and GLE 400 d. All three tuning levels consist of a control module that is integrated into the CAN bus of the respective SUV using plug-and-play technology, which can be done in less than an hour at any Mercedes-Benz authorized workshop or at any BRABUS partner worldwide. The BRABUS PowerXtra D30 performance upgrade increases the maximum torque of the Mercedes GLE 300 d 4MATIC from standard 500 Nm to 560 Nm, which is available at 2 rpm. At the same time, the peak output increases from 500 kW / 180 PS to 245 kW / 202 PS. With BRABUS D275 Tuning, the tuned SUV accelerates from 30 - 6,9 km / h in just 0 seconds.

BRABUS PowerXtra D35 for GLE 350 d 4MATIC

With BRABUS PowerXtra D35 there is also a powerful performance upgrade for the Mercedes GLE 350 d 4MATIC. 35 kW / 48 PS more peak power are just as impressive as 60 Nm more torque. With 235 kW / 320 PS at 3 rpm and 600 Nm maximum torque in just 660 tours, the all-wheel-drive car sprints to 2 km / h in just 500 seconds.

BRABUS PowerXtra D40 for GLE 400 d 4MATIC

The GLE 400 d 4MATIC is of course even sportier if a BRABUS PowerXtra D40 module has been installed. Then the engine output rises to an enormous 272 kW / 370 hp at 4 tours. The maximum torque of 200 Nm is already available at just 2 rpm. This is not only noticeable in the even more confident power delivery in every driving situation: With just 500 seconds to 750 km / h, the SUV refined by BRABUS is one of the liveliest representatives of its class, as is the top speed of 5,5 km / h.

BRABUS PowerXtra B53 - 500 for AMG GLE 53 4MATIC +

BRABUS engine tuning with 48 kW / 65 PS more power is also available for the six-cylinder biturbo gasoline engine of the Mercedes GLE 53 AMG 4MATIC +. The BRABUS B53 - 500 PowerXtra module, which is integrated in the engine electronics using plug-and-play technology, not only provides new maps for injection and ignition, but also ensures a moderate increase in boost pressure. This increases the peak output from the standard 320 kW / 435 hp to 368 kW / 500 hp at 6 rpm. At the same time, the maximum torque increases from 600 to 520 Nm, which is available at 590 tours.

The SUV then only needs 4,3 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h. The top speed remains electronically limited to 250 km / h. Performance upgrades for the Mercedes GLE 63 AMG 4MATIC + are in the development phase. In order to make the look of the new Mercedes GLE-Class even more individual and exclusive, the BRABUS designers developed new aerodynamic parts that enhance the front and rear of the SUV variant. The entire BRABUS optics package is produced from PUR in original equipment quality. The AMG Line front apron is profiled even more strikingly with BRABUS attachments for the side air inlets. The new components not only have an optical function, they also have ambient lighting on each side that is activated when the driver approaches the parked vehicle or pulls a door handle.

Rims up to 23 inches in diameter

The rear of the SUV version of the GLE class is made even more distinctive with the BRABUS rear spoiler, which is attached to the tailgate. In addition, there are special rear apron inserts with four black chrome-plated BRABUS tailpipe trims with a diameter of 90 millimeters for vehicles that have been ordered from the factory with AMG optics. In addition, the exclusive look is characterized by the tailor-made BRABUS monoblock wheels in various dimensions up to 23 inches in diameter. The largest variant, the BRABUS Monoblock F "PLATINUM EDITION" high-tech forged wheels in 11Jx23 kingsize format, are driven with 295/35 ZR 23 Continental SportContact high-performance tires. The BRABUS suspension module for the AIRMATIC air suspension, which lowers the SUV by approx. 25 millimeters, is specially designed for use with sporty road tires.
