Just over a year ago, Brabus demonstrated that BRABUS 850 BITURBO COUPE 6.0 C217, the fastest four-wheel-drive coupe in the world (maybe still !?) with a huge 850PS and even more powerful 1.450NM torque. In addition to the usual carbon body kit, the Über-Coupe was of course also completely refined and re-tuned inside on request. A good six months later, the phenomenal Mercedes S-Class W222 came on the market as the BRABUS ROCKET 900 "DESERT GOLD" Edition which, in addition to an increased performance to 900PS & 1.500NM torque, is particularly due to the golden paint and the many golden details in the Interior could show a unique selling point. Exactly this feature is now history because Brabus is now also presenting the "Desert Gold" Edition on the C217 Coupe, which is at least as conspicuous as the S-Class but, in my eyes, looks a bit more pleasing. I can't say whether this is due to the slightly more subtle radiator grille or the missing carbon gills. The fact is for me, the big coupe looks more harmonious! The tuner has released the C217 the days and of course we have to show it to you. After the extensive tuning cure that AMG was allowed to endure, it is now much more exciting, more individual and also more dynamic than the production version and should easily be twice as expensive. Anyone who is thinking of buying an S63 AMG (whether limo or coupe) in the future or who already owns one is certainly an interesting starting point for Brabus when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. As for the changes made to the optics or the technology, we have already learned the first details. As usual, we have listed what we know below in a summary.
