125PS & 200NM inspire the Brabus Ultimate Smart ForTwo

Brabus maintains its tradition and brings the BRABUS ULTIMATE 125 to the stage right on time for the Geneva Motor Show. This is the spectacular continuation of the successful series that began with the ULTIMATE 101 in 2004. ULTIMATE 112, ULTIMATE R, ULTIMATE style and ULTIMATE 120 were the intermediate stations to the current model which, as the name suggests, will also be strictly limited and even stronger. With just 125 units, the city sports car is the first vehicle in this line to be based on the current Smart ForTwo generation. Compared to the "normal Brabus Smart ForTwo“The limited edition gets another 5 HP more and is thus able to accelerate to 9,2 km / h in just 100 seconds thanks to the newly programmed switching electronics for shortened switching times and to accelerate to an electronically sealed 175 km / h unabated continue. Brabus achieves the significant additional performance compared to the production model by means of a modified intake system, more efficient intercooler and chip tuning.

But it's not just the increase in performance that makes the difference, there are also a lot of other highlights. One of them is definitely the WIDESTAR body kit, which consists of extensions for the front and rear axles, a front spoiler, additional side skirts and a sporty rear diffuser. The diffuser includes a BRABUS stainless steel sports exhaust system with three central & chrome-plated tailpipes that reminds a little bit of the Ferrari 458 Italia. The flared wheel arches now offer space for lush BRABUS Monoblock Y 18 inch forged rims. The 9-spoke Y-shape design measures a whopping 7Jx18 inches on the front axle and is fitted with 205/35 R 18 tires. On the rear axle there are even more beefy 8Jx18 inch rims that are even more extreme with 235/30 R 18 tires. For the presentation vehicle, there are glossy black / polished aluminum on one side and black painted rims with pinstriping in body color on the other. Incidentally, the wheel set is one of the lightest 18 inch wheel sets in the world. Of course, the rims only really come into their own when they sit optimally in the wheel arch by lowering them and the tuner achieves this with the in-house BRABUS sports suspension.

While the 125 copies can be manufactured in a wide variety of paintwork, the show vehicle was given a special paintwork called Blu Glauco (bright turquoise) which looks simply spectacular in connection with the many black accents. Finally, the interior is also extensively revised and it is just as extensive here as on the body. The full leather interior is available in almost any color, and many parts of the interior are covered with particularly soft and breathable BRABUS mastik leather and matched to the selected body color. Whether seats, interior parts of the door panels, the top of the instrument panel, the instrument for the rev counter, the clock, the ventilation rings or the cover for the instrument cluster, everything can be individually revised upon request. High-quality highlights such as the BRABUS stainless steel pedals, the new gear knob & handbrake lever made of aluminum, the stainless steel footrest, the door sills with the BRABUS ULTIMATE 125 logo that are illuminated in white or red, and the velor floor mats with the BRABUS logo round off the ForTwo impressively from.
