Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition - inspired by the W16 Mistral Roadster

A strictly limited new carbon edition of the Bugatti Baby II was created exclusively for the owners of a W16 Mistral. Developed and hand-built in partnership with The Little Car Company, the Baby II Carbon Edition follows the exterior and interior of the W16 Mistral in detail, making it the ideal complement to Bugatti's ultimate roadster. Based on a modern carbon fiber architecture, the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition pays tribute in design and construction to the W16 Mistral¹, the last street-legal Bugatti to be powered by the legendary W16 engine. Each customer has the opportunity to have their new Bugatti Baby II built to the specifications of their own W16 Mistral, making it a truly unique model.

High-tech carbon and innovative design

In addition to a paint finish according to customer requirements and the individual design specifications, the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition contains numerous carbon details. Visible carbon elements adorn the radiator grille, the interior paneling of the dashboard and the mirror bracket, and the center section of the custom-made black wooden steering wheel is also made of carbon.

A series of finely painted black components gives the Carbon Edition's visual finish a special depth. The spare wheel and spare wheel bracket have been removed to lighten the vehicle. To honor Bugatti's homeland, owners of the W16 Mistral can have a French flag hand-painted on the side of their Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition. The headlights of the Bugatti Baby II Carbon Edition are integrated into a horizontal LED styling - a tribute to the headlight design of the W16 Mistral. The chassis number and model name are engraved on the interior trim of every new Bugatti Baby II.

Limited to 500 models: Bugatti Baby II

Launched in 2019 and limited to 500 models, the Bugatti Baby II is a contemporary homage to Ettore Bugatti's original masterpiece, the Bugatti Baby, built in 1926. The 35 percent scale version of the Bugatti Type 75 was developed to celebrate Bugatti's 110th birthday and is an important contribution to preserving the history of the Bugatti brand.

The Baby II Carbon Edition follows a similar design interpretation and features the essential styling cues of a Bugatti interior. Some of the original Bugatti Type 35 instruments have been adapted to modern times: the former fuel pressure gauge now shows the battery level. As a reference to the Bugatti Veyron, the oil gauge has been converted to a power gauge. The reduced version of the famous four-spoke steering wheel is equipped with a quick release device to facilitate and speed up access to the cockpit.

The adjustable pedals are machined from a solid block of aluminum and feature the famous "EB" logo. The fuel pump lever has been accurately reproduced, but now serves as the shift lever for forward, neutral and reverse settings.
