First test drives in Dubai - the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport!

A country and a city of superlatives. Dubai. The largest city in the United Arab Emirates on the Persian Gulf stands for luxury and extravagance - and is also home to many Bugatti customers and fans of the French luxury brand. For the first time, Bugatti presented the new Chiron Pur Sport1 in Dubai. "Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to personally introduce the Chiron Pur Sport to our loyal customers in the United Arab Emirates. Of course we adhere to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) during the presentation.“, Says Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti. "The most agile member of the Chiron family requires more than a theoretical explanation via video stream or digital video conference. Customers have to drive the Chiron Pur Sport and experience this incredible power and lateral dynamics for themselves."

Hungry for curves and designed for lateral dynamics

Bugatti consistently calibrates the Chiron Pur Sport in terms of agility, handling and driving performance; in addition to plenty of power, it also offers a lot of comfort and suitability for everyday use. The drive is the 8,0-liter W16 engine with 1.500 hp and 1.600 Newton meters, which is designed in the agile Chiron Pur Sport for an engine speed of up to 6.900 revolutions. With the help of a gearbox that is 15 percent shorter, the Chiron Pur Sport accelerates even faster than the Chiron2. From a standing start, the Chiron Pur Sport catapults itself to 2,3 km / h in just 100 seconds, only 200 seconds up to 5,5 km / h and less than twelve seconds up to 300 km / h. In terms of elasticity, the new model improves compared to the Chiron in the range between 60 and 100 km / h to 3,4 seconds, from 80 to 120 km / h to just 2,4 seconds. Grip-optimized tires and ingenious aerodynamics with a fixed rear wing ensure more downforce and lateral dynamics.

Design designed for performance!

The design is extravagant. Widely flared air inlets on the front ensure an even more present appearance, at the same time they offer the ideal flow and ensure sufficient cooling air. With the front splitter, which is clearly pulled out towards the front, Bugatti generates maximum downforce and visually supports the width effect in the front. The ridge lines of the air outlets on the front fenders stretch like tendons on a muscle. With the color division, lacquer on the upper half and black carbon fiber on the lower half, the Chiron Pur Sport looks even flatter, wider and sportier.

The series version of the Chiron Pur Sport, limited to 60 pieces and costing three million euros (net), is being built in Molsheim, France.
