Who does not know him: Bumblebee the Autobot and loyal supporter of his teacher and friend Optimus Prime. Normally it can transform into a yellow Chevrolet Camaro SS, including black rally stripes. And so far we were actually of the opinion that that also for Transformers 5 "The Last Knight" is true. But at the sight of this 2017 Porsche 911 (991.2) Turbo S Cabriolet from the tuner TopCar, we have justified doubts whether the role will not be taken on by a German athlete this time. In terms of performance, the Turbo S should even be superior to the current Camaro, so why not? But we can reassure you - the role will definitely be taken over by the 2017 Camaro, which is now in its sixth generation on the market.
The 991 in the Bumblebee outfit comes from the Russian tuner TopCar and got what we already know, Stinger Gtr Gen.2 Bodykit. All components are made of carbon and to a large extent this is still visible. At the front there is a spoiler lip in GT2 style and the borders for the LED daytime running lights are new. This includes a carbon fiber bonnet and newly modeled front and rear bumpers. The side skirts are also part of the extensive aerodynamics package and have been adapted to the exhibited front and rear fenders (front with air vents). The body kit at the rear is particularly aggressive because here the large rear diffuser and the air openings in the rear bumper attract attention and the fixed rear spoiler also contributes to the new overall picture. The highlight is of course the bright yellow paint (possibly also foiling) in conjunction with the many visible carbon fiber as well as the black soft top and the color-matched ADV.1 Wheels alloy wheels make the 911er appear in the aforementioned Bumblebee style.
Whether here a sports exhaust system or possibly an increase in performance was installed, we can not say unfortunately, as us but for example TechArt has already demonstrated impressively, the 3800 cm³ six-cylinder boxer engine with turbocharging is capable of significantly more torque than the standard 580 PS & 700 NM torque (Overboost: 750 Nm iV with Sport Chrono Package). If we get even more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
