In 1902 the American company Cadillac was founded. The first car was the Model A, equipped with a single cylinder engine that developed ten horsepower. 4 years later the D model appeared - a full 30 hp and a four-cylinder engine. These were incredible values for that time. The merger followed in the 1910s General Motors, The Cadillac brand stands for the premium segment at GM. During the Second World War Cadillac was forced to develop war equipment. From 1944 even the main battle tank M-24 was produced. After the war, the company quickly returned to its roots and the 1948er models shaped the body designs of all American automakers. Even today Cadillac stands for luxury and exclusivity. Particularly popular with the tuning community are the Cadillac classic cars, but also chip tuning with newer models is in the car tuning scene in the focus.
