Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera srl

The Italian car body manufacturer Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera srl was founded in 1926 by Felice Bianchi Anderloni in Milan and went bankrupt in 1966. His friend Gaetano Ponzoni was his partner in the management. Both studied law and came to car manufacturing through their love for car tuning. Felice Anderloni in particular was an extremely talented designer for automobiles. He had his super light body shop "Superleggera" patented. The vehicles had their price from Carrozzeria. His son Carlo Felice Bianchi Anderloni followed in his footsteps after his father's death. Like his father, he had a knack for tuning and vehicle construction. Gaetano Ponzoni was still part of the game. The 50s were successful for the duo and the touring vehicles became groundbreaking for automakers. At the end of 1966, Carrozzeria Touring had to close and went into bankruptcy. The vehicles of that time achieve top prices at auctions. The names Superleggera and Touring have been brought back to life by the Dutch Zeta Europe BV Group. There is more about the company
