It goes ahead with the BiTurbo Chevrolet Corvette C8 from Extreme Turbo Systems! At the end of May the tuner showed us a first video how the C8 sounds with the two turbos on the V8 and now there was a measurement on the test bench. The result is probably the most powerful C8 currently on the market. The 6,2-liter V8 with turbochargers and 7,5 psi boost pressure also received a new charge air cooler, an air intake system with high flow and a special exhaust system. For this purpose, the control unit of the vehicle was optimized using chip tuning and even one methanol injection is installed. While the V8 of the C8 generates 495 PS of engine power as standard, the tuner now creates enormous 736 PS and 907 Nm (669 lb-ft) at the wheel. That means the engine itself is likely to generate over 800 horsepower.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
