Calling a heavy and rather lengthy car a “Hot One” was perhaps a little exaggerated in the Chevrolet advertising of General Motors at the time for the second-generation Bel Air. Nevertheless, it became a coveted collector's car for automobile enthusiasts. And it is particularly popular as a conversion to a restomod. The best example is this one with a lot of modern hardware under the hood. Painted in red and ivory (original colors) from 1956, the classic was restored and completely rebuilt by the tuner RMD Garage in Long Beach, California. He has built in an LS3-V8 with approx. 550 PS and comes with chic custom billet Raceline rims that hide a set of Willwood brakes. There was also a Borla exhaust system and the interior is completely new. Everything is handmade and there were even Lexus seats as the basis for the new stalls.
