From tuner Steve Morris Engines (known for crazy engine tunings and record-breaking drag cars) comes this fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro. The monster shows on a Dyno run that it is possible to reach the 2.000 HP mark. The video is 7:45 minutes long and Steve Morris himself provides a lot of information about the specifications of the Camaro. After a short burnout, it is put to the test where the dragster is strapped in and ready for the run. Incidentally, the vehicle belongs to Clark Rosenstengel and the car has already set numerous Gen Five Camaro records.

Initially, the Camaro had an LS-V8 under the hood, but now a Steve Morris SMX monster with a water jacket is installed. Powered by two 94mm turbochargers mounted low on the ground, this is part of the madness. In addition to the huge Garrett turbos, the video also shows the special oil cooler and the gearbox cooler. And the engine only runs at “low” 20 psi, which is pretty crazy considering the power it spits out. Incidentally, the interior is still equipped with a sound system, the seats, and everything that is important.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
