Let us assume that there is a C6 Chevrolet Corvette in the garage next door with around 850 horses on the crankshaft. Is that enough to show the taillights of a McLaren 720S? Even if the British super sports car has a good 100 hp less (Various dyno tests have shown that the real power is usually around 750 hp)? The answer is NO! Because this Corvette has already faced a 720S verloren. But the owner didn't give up and took the C6 to the gym again. The LS3-V8 had previously installed a Vortech YSI radial compressor and a whole range of other modifications that attested a good 6 hp on the bike on a Mustang dyno of the C750. In comparison to a Dynojet test bench, the result is stated rather “cautiously”.

In addition, there were other goodies for the 6,2-liter V8 that fuels the E85, such as a special cooler, a new cold air inlet, larger injection nozzles (1.000 to 1.300 ccm) and a 2,85 belt pulley. Now the unit on the test bench produces 825 HP on the bike, which should correspond to around 1.000 HP engine power. A manual Tremec TR6060 gearbox is installed and the rear diff. is also new. In addition, the C6 is on Mickey Thompson ET Street R tires and the fight against the standard McLaren should be won by YouTuber BoostITFORward. Will that succeed? The video solves the riddle!
