Just recently we got over the Chevrolet Corvette C8 reported by Emelia Hartford, With the about 1.000 PS the currently apparently strongest ever. Thanks to the BiTurbo setup, the Vette flies over the quarter mile in 9,41 seconds, making it more than just an adequate opponent for the electrically powered Porsche Taycan Turbo. And the Hoonigan team is now leaving the Vette in one of theirs "This vs. That"  Race against the Stromer. On paper, the Corvette actually has the better cards. she has 80 PS more and weighs crazy 713 kg Less. That's almost the curb weight of a Ford Fiesta from 1976.

But the Taycan has the advantage that the torque is due to the electric drive train immediately applied and the performance beyond that by means of all wheel drive is implemented consistently. The first race that both of them drive is 304,8 meters long. The second is then 457,2 meters. And then it goes over 1.000 feet (304,8 meters) again. And who wins? The best thing to do is to take a look yourself

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
