Tuner Hennessey Performance has developed a new stainless steel exhaust system for the Corvette C8. It gives the mid-engine Vette a significantly improved soundscape, it generates more power and torque and is also lighter than the original. And the latest video from Hennessy shows the system impressively on the test bench and the RaceTrack. In terms of performance, it gives the Corvette an additional 21 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque while saving 11 pounds (approx. 5 kg).

In view of the fact that it is only an exhaust system, the performance increase is quite remarkable as we think! Many others need expensive chip tuning for such a jump. And the soundscape is beyond any doubt and now more than befitting for the new Vette. No comparison to the production vehicle! Incidentally, the exhaust system is the same system that was recently installed on the Hennessey Corvette C8 with nitrous oxide was used for the 330 km / h record run.
