Tuner Lingenfelter has YouTube published a video that shows a Chevrolet Corvette C8 with a new exhaust system. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering installed a system from the exhaust specialists from Corsa performance. And the system not only increases the soundscape, but also gives the C8 additional power and torque. The Dyno diagram shows that the Vette actually gains 19 HP and 20 NM of torque. And the increase is almost constant over the entire speed range. When you consider that it is “only” a sports exhaust system, that's pretty impressive. And the system can be installed using the plug-and-play method and even uses the factory-made flap control. The system should also be compatible with all engine modifications that Lingenfelter will present in the future.
Lingenfelter Extreme-S
Is this "the best C8 exhaust on the market“? At least that's what Corsa Performance says - not Lingenfelter. 4,5 inch (approx. 11 cm) tailpipes with laser engraving and the inscription "Lingenfelter by Corsa" are installed on the Vette. The Extreme-S exhaust system starts at $ 3.599 excluding shipping. According to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, the system should increase performance by 19 PS and 20 NM torque make possible. The system is there 5,9 kilograms lighter considered the performance exhaust system from Chevrolet and the system was designed for integration with the factory engine control unit created and owns 3,0 inch (approx. 8 cm) tubes. And Corsa Performance also has a sentence Stainless Manifolds for the C8 at the start.
