Video: Nissan GT-R (R34) vs. Corvette Z06 (C8) vs. GT-R Nismo (R35)

This drag race of Throttle House we have to show you! Shown is the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C8) versus a stock Nissan GT-R (R35) We did not and a heavily tuned GT-R R34. The GT R We did not is powered by a 3,8-liter V6 engine with twin turbochargers and delivers 600 hp and a torque of 652 Newton meters. It weighs around 1.754 kilograms and has all-wheel drive. The tuned one R34 has a turbocharged 3,0-liter straight-six with it, which has been pushed to around 1.000 hp. The empty weight of R34 is around 1.560 kg. And the Z06 delivers 670 hp, which it only sends to the rear wheels. This is made possible by a 5,5-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine with a torque of 623 Nm in combination with an unladen weight of 1.558 kg. And who is faster? The video shows that!

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
