Video: Drag race - Porsche 911 vs. Corvette C8 vs. Shelby GT500

In the following drag race, the current Porsche 911 (992) competes against the Chevrolet C8 Corvette and the muscle car Shelby GT500 (Ford Mustang GT base) at. Once again we will know which vehicle is the fastest in the end. Whereby the comparison of the “base” Porsche 911, at least with regard to the GT500, is a bit lame, as we think. The relationship to the C8 Corvette, however, fits quite well. Can a significantly weaker six-cylinder boxer in the 911 compete with the GT500 V8 supercharger and the V8 in the C8? However, the Shelby GT500 also has a major disadvantage. The massive power only works if you get the perfect start. And that's not really easy with rear-wheel drive and V8 supercharger on the front axle and +700 hp.

385 hp vs. 502 hp vs. 770 hp

The other two, on the other hand, have astonishing traction due to the rear mid-engine. As far as the technical data is concerned, the 911 is the weakest but at the same time the most expensive. The Carrera makes 385 PS and 450 NM torque and draws its power from its 3-liter six-cylinder (EA9A2) with two turbochargers. Next we have the C8 Corvette, which is equipped with the Z51 package and generates 502 PS & 637 NM. And then there would be the "About Mustang"! The 770 PS & 847 NM strong GT500 with V8 5,2 liter engine and compressor. Who wins? Check it out!
