This unequal duel lets a Chevrolet C10 pickup with an LS3 V8 engine compete against a Porsche 911 GT3 (991.1). Zac Mertens is the proud owner of the 1974 C10 with a 434 cubic inch GM-LS3 engine from the tuner Texas Speed & Performance. The result is an incredibly fast sports truck with 545 PS and 677 NM torque "at the rear wheels". So the engine easily delivers around 600 hp! But is Mertens truck from the 70s fast enough to defeat a Porsche 911 GT3 on the drag? This is exactly what the Hoonigan crew wanted in the latest episode of the drag racing video series “This vs. That "find out. The 911 GT3 is a model of the early 991 generation, i.e. a vehicle with the well-known 3,8-liter six-cylinder boxer with 475 hp. There is also a quick-shifting seven-speed dual clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive. The C10 is therefore significantly more powerful than the Porsche. Have fun watching!
