This breathtaking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro drove in front of the lens of the guys at AutopiaLA. And the Camaro wasn't built in one of the many high-end workshops with the latest tools somewhere in America, but rather in a backyard. Namely from Junior, who runs a tuning company called "Backyard Specialties". True to its name, the company is run from the backyard and its garage by Junior. But the quality of the vehicles is in no way inferior to that of the big tuners. The Camaro originally belonged to Junior's father and was in pretty bad shape before the conversion. But the team has set to work to completely restore the vehicle and build it from scratch. Since then, the Camaro has had a deep black paintwork and red accents and it stands on a set of intro rims.

an evil one-off in black

The interior is bright red and has seats from a Hyundai Veloster. There was also a Momo sports steering wheel and analog displays in the leather-covered dashboard. Even the trunk has been completely expanded and now shows itself with the modern components of the high-end sound system. Under the hood is a mighty 6.2L V8 L99 from a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro which provides an additional 100 PS through tuning. With an estimated 500 ponies on the rear wheels, which are transmitted by automatic transmission, propulsion appropriate to the species should be guaranteed. And the Baer brake system with 14-inch brake discs at the front and rear, including 6-piston brake calipers, enables deceleration in keeping with one's standing. In view of the "backyard tuning", the result is absolutely convincing in our opinion.
