Cadillac CT5 with racing foiling and different wheelsets!

It's hard to believe, but the Cadillac CT5 is an integral part of the tuning scene in China. In Germany, on the other hand, the CT5 is not officially available. In addition, the Cadillac brand is hardly modified at all in this country, because the few examples that you see here are not usually bought by younger people. So the probability of seeing a tuned Cadillac in Germany is pretty low. It's different in China, and today we would like to introduce you to a CT5 from the Middle Kingdom.

Racing look on the limo

The first to fall foiling on whose color scheme recalls the classic Audi Motorsport livery remind. There are also gray rally stripes on the white paintwork and a red decorative stripe above the radiator grille, which makes the CT5 look particularly sporty. There is a blue stripe on the lower grill that contrasts with the foiling. The front splitter and side skirts are characterized by a black carbon look and ensure a sporty, elegant look.

From our point of view, only the orange mirror caps look a bit out of place, as they don't harmonize with the rest of the color scheme. Incidentally, the wheels on the front axle were chosen by Ravize-alloy wheels in 19-inch format, which has a gray finish, the five double-spoke star optics and the Central locking present dynamically. The tuning crew also installed 19-inch Ravize rims on the rear axle, but here with a turbine look and a silver finish.

By choosing different rim models on the front and rear axles, the unusual design of the car becomes even clearer. Provide the necessary depth thread springs front and rear, which were not turned down completely in favor of better suitability for everyday use. Of course, a ducktail spoiler is also allowed CDM style not missing, because it is a characteristic feature of many vehicles tuned in China.

A 2-liter turbo petrol engine provides propulsion!

Acts as a drive in the luxury class sedan from Cadillac a 2-liter four-cylinder with turbocharging that delivers 237 hp and 350 Newton meters of maximum torque. The unit is combined with a ten-speed automatic transmission and the power is transmitted exclusively to the rear wheels. With it you can move forward quickly in all situations.

Our conclusion:

  • A cool project that once again shows the creativity and craziness of the Chinese tuning scene. We give a thumbs up. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
