Cadillac CTS-V Wagon with 1.100 PS as the ultimate sleeper!

If you think of fast station wagons, then they are RS6 or the Before RS4 off the Audi shelf, of course, immediately in your head. Immediately afterwards there are more hits from Mercedes and also Volkswagen is doing itself with the Golf R Variant a name in the segment for several years. But hardly anyone knows that America also has particularly fast loading trucks. The Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon almost nobody knows. And we are only partially familiar with it, too. We were allowed to do so for a few years the technically identical sedan Call our own, as a station wagon we were allowed to 6,2-liter V8 with compressor and with an output of 564 PS and a maximum torque of 747 Nm never enjoy. Reason enough to introduce you to the potent station wagon in the form of one heavily modified variant.

Cadillac CTS-V Wagon with 1.100 hp

The CTS-V as a sport wagon is extremely rare. In fact, it is the rarest of all CTS-Vs. It was only built for four years, between 2011 and 2014, and only during that period 30 minutes manufactured. This corresponds to about 10% of all CTS-Vs vehicles of the 2nd generation. The performance was apparently not enough for the owner of this copy.

He has the fast station wagon from Hennessey performance get tuned. And according to our information, it was the first CTS-V wagon, the so-called HPE 1100 upgrade received. This is evidenced by means of Serial number sticker "01" on the dashboard. Allegedly, the conversion cost a good 130.000 US dollars. That sounds like a lot to us, but it is definitely possible. Since the conversion, the CTS-V sports car has now become utopian 1.100 PS available with almost unchanged optics.

Brembo upgrade for the braking system

That was achieved performance increase mittels forged components (Piston, connecting rod, etc.) in the engine in combination with two ball bearing turbochargers (the compressor is gone) and also the standard one Automatic transmission has been strengthened. There was also a Brembo upgrade for the braking system (Big Brake Kit, 16 '' front, 15 '' rear) to ensure a secure hold. There is also a set built in 20 Zöller by Hennessey in black, the ones with 255/35 and 295/30 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are equipped. But that's not all.

Also one Carbon front lip, a Stainless-steel sport exhaust system, a large Intercooler, CTS-V Competition Stabilizer Kit and a changed one injection were necessary to get the performance in the four-digit range. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply take ours Feed subscribe to.
