The "Callaway Champion" is a very special Corvette Z06! But that doesn't mean that a factory Z06 isn't already something special. After all, there is an impressive 7-liter V6,2 with supercharger and 8 hp and 659 Nm of torque from the factory in the C881 generation. But apparently not enough for the Callaway team. Because they have been working on the C7 for years and never tire of constantly developing the American athlete. And what maybe not everyone knows, Callaway can look back on a long history in GT3 racing and has built many C7s as racing cars. And the company also has a long history with the Corvette itself. Because Callaway has been building some of the coolest Vettes for decades and has been banging it regularly since the 90s. And to celebrate the long and eventful history of motorsport with the Corvette, the American tuning company has now launched a very special edition.

Operation on for the Callaway Champion! A C7 special model that is being produced for the 25th anniversary with German know-how in cooperation with the Leingarten Germany racing team. The Callaway C7 has 757 hp and a torque of 1.030 Nm, which is achieved using the Callaway Gen 3 Supercharger with triple intercoolers and with adapted programming of the engine control unit. Of course, the special supercharger housing with the integrated intake duct from Callaway is installed. It is designed to lower the intake air temperature. There are also special intercoolers with increased water flow left. and right and through the opening in the bonnet, the airstream flows directly to the surface of the compressor with a carbon engine surround and 757 emblem. This improves the cooling of the intake air.

And of course the acoustics of the V8 have also been taken care of. A significant sound upgrade can be achieved by means of individual mufflers with tailpipes in the Callaway double-D design that have built-in resonance compensation inside.

The system produces a pleasantly sonorous sound and is manufactured by M&M Exhaust Systems. And in view of the significantly increased performance, of course, the braking system also had to be revised. The Callaway Champion decelerates with 380 x 35 mm steel brake discs and larger 6-piston Brembo brake calipers from Tikt. There are also Pagid brake pads with a larger friction surface and for a fixed brake pressure Steel braided brake lines and the right racing brake fluid included. And of course the chassis has also been modified. The C7 is discreetly lowered by means of a coil spring suspension with MDS shock absorbers from Bilstein-Tikt and additional uniball joints can be installed in the wishbones and stabilizers. Longer wheel bolts are also pressed in and there are wheel spacers all around.
