Camouflage design on Audi R8 from tuner mbDesign

Reading time 2 Min.

Anyone who owns the "old" Audi R8 4.2 V8 with 420PS can have it undergo a makeover at the tuner mbDesign. The greatest conspicuousness is likely to be the camouflage foiling that is supposed to emulate an F16 Arctic Agressor fighter jet. In order for the car to appear "younger", parts of the current model must of course be installed.

mbDesign has installed parts of the R8 V10 and R8 GT. Among other things, the complete front bumper, including the carbon splitter and the side skirts and the sideblades. The GT carbon rear wing was installed so that the rear also looks younger. In conjunction with the GT carbon rear cover and the custom full carbon tailgate, a difference to the newer model is no longer visible. The full carbon diffuser from SuperCar24 is an accessory that optically fits the car perfectly. Once again, the Audi shelf was reached for the Audi carbon mirror caps and the engine compartment and tailgate trim.

MbDesign has achieved 453PS and thus even 23PS more than the facelift model from Audi. More sound comes from the Capristo stainless steel exhaust system with electronic flap control. Inside was also done by hand. The GT carbon package, the Bang & Olufsen sound system, came from the Audi shelf again. There was also manual work with the handmade Alcantara package.
