A lot of money and effort for NOTHING! A tough judgment for an absolutely nonsensical conversion - at least that's how we see it. A converted Volvo that was recently shared on Reddit and can be found somewhere in the Middle East. It could well be one of the ugliest and most bizarre vehicles around. And to top it off, it also has a bright red Volvo emblem in the radiator grille and smudges the Swedish brand. The base is supposedly a Volvo 240 which was built between 1974 and 1993. But the "proud" owner apparently wanted to get together discreet stand out from the crowd and has made numerous modifications to the body. The front is supposed to somehow represent a Rolls-Royce Phantom whose massive radiator grille is significantly larger and does not normally shine in black.
Why the huge red Volvo emblem?
Only the vertical slats are similar to the Rolls, the huge red Volvo emblem, however, rather less. There are also rectangular headlights in phantom style and the new angular front apron has LED daytime running lights. Only the builder knows why the Frankenstein-Rolls did not have extended side skirts. The ridiculous accessory rims and black door handles don't help either. By the way, the bird is finally shot down by Nissan Skyline R32 taillights. WTF - why? And then the double tailpipes in ATU style with a huge rear apron. The already not really pretty Volvo 240 is finally destroyed. Should we promptly receive information about further changes (or maybe pictures from the scrap press), there is of course an update for this report.
