Unbelievable that it's 17 years ago, the Lotus is the Elise Series II marketed. A completely redesigned body, a new chassis and an 122 PS engine from Rover were the most important features. The highlight of the series was definitely the Elise 111R with a 1,8-liter engine from Toyota with its direct injection whopping 141 kW (192 PS) made. And just such an Elise II has become the Russian tuner Carbon Motors made and refined the spartan interior in the usual high quality way. True to the motto "less is sometimes more“The interior impresses with subtle carbon applications and new leather seats. The dashboard is largely wrapped in Alcantara and to the right and left of it everything extends in high-quality carbon fiber.
The same applies to the speedometer unit and the lining of the steering linkage. The steering wheel is also completely redesigned and all the way to the exclusive carpet, including the Lotus logo, bears the hallmarks of Carbon Motors. Definitely this vehicle is an absolute one-of-a-kind and the owner can be sure that at one of the rare lotus meetings his Elise will be a highlight.
