Carbon widebody kit on the Chevrolet Corvette C8!

Since that Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of the C8 series was presented, there have already been countless conversions with almost all possible changes. But this example is different. Because this C8 has more modifications than many others and ends in one of the most striking C8s we've seen so far. And of course our main focus is the crazy limited Wide body kit, which is completely wrapped in carbon fiber and by Anderson Composites originates. It's inspired by the grand touring race car, the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R. The body kit includes completely redesigned front and rear bumper, there was a front splitter, four large canards and the mighty one is particularly striking rear diffuser. But that's not all. Because the carbon add-on parts also include huge ones side panels, there were massive Side skirts with sill swords and even the Doors are made of ultra-light carbon. Even the Door handle has been carbonized.

Countless small details like the new ones rearview mirror, the roof panels or the carbon hood round off the extremely complex body kit impressively. It goes without saying that such extensive components are anything but cheap. So it is not surprising that the complete widebody kit made of carbon should cost a whopping 19.999 US dollars, and that includes the doors, the hood, the roof panels , the rear wing and the mirrors not once with a. But what would the body kit be without the other changes to the C8? Only then is the look successfully rounded off. And here, of course, our focus is on the brand new one wheelset.

Specifically, it is a set of ADV.1 rims type ADV005 from the Flowspec series, which we already have on a white Stingray Z51, One BMW M X6 or at one Nissan GT-R have seen. In order for the fat wheelhouses to be consistently filled, the wheelset naturally had to have the appropriate dimensions. So you rely on the format 20×10,5 inches at the front and there are even 21×10,5 inches at the back.

The wheelset is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires in the format 325/30 ZR21 at the rear and 285/30 ZR20 at the front. Although the platinum surface of the aluminum is extremely high-quality and elegant, in our opinion the wheel set does not really want to match the carbon Vette. In the end, of course, that's all a matter of taste. Other details on the vehicle are a KW lowering, there were side darkened ones slices and apparently one too Sports exhaust system. Unfortunately, we currently have no information about this and any changes to the engine or the cabin. If we get more information about the changes to the Carbon Widebody Corvette C8, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
