You can definitely say that the fourth generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe (came onto the German market in summer 2018) has grown up a lot and looks significantly more valuable in view of the more rounded predecessors. And this is also confirmed when you look into the luxurious cabin. And all for a price of just over 35.000 euros. The look of the 4770 mm long and 1890 mm wide body with the two-part front lights and narrow LED strips as daytime running lights at the level of the bonnet edge looks dynamic, and the large cascade grille with coarse-mesh radiator opening emphasizes the self-confident appearance. There are also clearly modeled fenders at the front and rear, a slightly sloping rear and the already mentioned high-quality cabin. There are screens in three sizes from five, over seven to eight inches, and a 8,5-inch (approx. 22 cm) head-up display complements the modern infotainment system. And by the way, even fully digital instruments are optionally available.

Body kit and interior from Carlex Design

However, all this does not hide the fact that the Hyundai Santa Fe hardly plays a role in the tuning scene. And this is exactly what the Carlex Design tuner did not want to look at further. Reason enough to revise a current Santa Fe and to equip it with an extensive body kit and new interior equipment. The body kit includes a new front apron with a spoiler and its own radiator grille, there is a new apron for the rear with an integrated diffuser and the fender flares all around as well as the roof spoiler are part of the Carlex Design accessories. Only the black alloy wheels in 5-spoke design come from a third-party provider and, in combination with a subtle lowering, ensure that city halls are properly filled. However, in our opinion, a 1 inch larger version would also have fit well.

green accents in the cabin

As always, there is nothing to complain about in the interior. Here, the Polish tuner went wild and donated to the Korean, for example, a light green leather Alcantara with many black accents, a 12 o'clock marking on the flattened steering wheel and also the well-known Carlex badges on the headrests. The result shows that the Santa Fe can also be a good template for extensive tuning and is an absolute eye-catcher, especially with the two-tone paintwork in black and white and of course the body kit. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
