Carlsson CS50 Versailles Edition! Subtle is different ...

If you want to attract attention at the Geneva Motor Show, you have to make a lot of effort. The tuner Carlsson apparently thinks similarly and presents his extremely eye-catching golden Mercedes S-Class. The exact name is Carlsson CS50 Versailles Edition and is supposed to be reminiscent of the magnificent palace of the Sun King Louis XIV.

Carlsson offers the following tuning:

  • Limitation on 25 vehicles
  • About 200 hours of manual labor
  • Over 1000 pieces of 8 x 8 centimeter gold flakes are applied by hand
  • special clearcoat
  • Control elements such as handles / switches or speaker covers are also gold-plated
  • Two-tone leather in silk beige and dark brown
  • 268.000 euros for the CS50 model
  • CS65 costs 398.000 Euro
