Carlsson car technology has a new subsidiary named "Carlsson Peninsula"And will" look after "vehicles of the Hyundai brand with immediate effect. And the first copy became the last Food Motor Show 2019 already introduced and is called "Peninsula i30 N". A Hyundai i30 N Fastback that has been modified with a sporty aerodynamic kit, aluminum motorsport rims and a performance upgrade similar to the well-known Mercedes-Benz vehicles from Carlsson. The body kit includes a three-part front spoiler, which is installed directly on the factory apron, and there are also small attachments for the side skirts and the rear also changes significantly. Similar to the large spoiler for the front, the rear apron attachment in diffuser look is multi-part and there is also a sporty aggressive roof spoiler.

Body kit, chip tuning & magnesium rims

The small spoiler lip on the tailgate is already installed at the factory. In order to highlight the new aerodynamic parts, they were painted red on the exhibition vehicle. Here, however, any other color can be selected, right down to the body color. And as already mentioned, new rims are also installed. It is specifically about Magnesium forged wheels in 19 inches which are extremely light with only 8,2 kg per rim. The wheelset on the photo vehicle is painted bright white and only the central locking nut (dummy) skillfully settles with a red look. And who looks closely, will also recognize that the rims sit very accurately due to a lowering in the wheel well. Carlson achieves this with a specially tuned KW-V3coilover that can be adjusted not only in height, but also in the rebound and compression stages.

The body kit can be painted

And matching the sporty look, there is also a hefty increase in performance. Here you put on an in-house chip tuning in combination with a sports exhaust system included downpipe from OPF filter. The result is an impressive 330 hp, which is 80 hp more than the series. So the sprint to 100 km / h should be done in under 6 seconds and with high probability you will also eliminate the electronic lock of the top speed of 250 km / h. And at a later point in time, even more performance kits are to follow. And finally, you will also associate the in-house upholstery shop with the Hyundai brand and also offer individual interior fittings according to customer requirements for the Koreans.
