This cartoon runabout was on display at the Essen Motor Show (2022). It was one of the biggest attractions at the EMS at the beginning of December, because the GTI not only presented itself with cool tuning, but especially with a shrill cartoon look. The fashion brand is responsible for the successful idea "Howdeep" from Herzogenrath near Aachen. It only took 3 days to turn the Golf 4 into a one-off. The vehicle received a blue-green base color in combination with many black lines and brushstrokes to present a new collection from Howdeep. The black accents are deliberately designed to look like they were drawn with a pencil. But the cartoon-look Golf is more than just a cartoon star!

The Wolfsburg with 1,8-liter turbo four-cylinder and 180 hp got not only the unrealistic-futuristic look in matt, like from a cartoon, but also a lowering by means of Smart Air suspension. There were also new Rotiform rims turbofans (Aero covers) and the windows and headlights are black (black covers on the headlights). All of the changes combine to make the Golf seem like it's moving at breakneck speed, even when it's stationary. A perfect optical illusion.
