AC Schnitzer BMW M4 Competition Cabriolet with up to 610 hp!

At first everyone complained and smiled at BMW when the presentation of the new generation of the M3 and M4 took place. But apparently the Munich-based company isn't the only ones who like the unusual front view, including the eye-catching XL kidney. In any case, BMW cannot complain about a lack of demand or missing sales for the current flagship of the middle class. And the majority of the tuning scene is already enthusiastic about the G80 and G82/G83. And the Aachen BMW experts from AC Schnitzer had already committed themselves to this in the past coupe and the sedan accepted, but now they have come up with a tuning program, especially for the M4 convertible. Your concept includes technical optimizations, such as a two-stage performance upgrade and visual upgrades/customizations.

The M4 is available in different versions with different equipment ex works. But the benchmark is of course the M4 Competition Cabrio 510 PS & 650 Nm with a M xDrive all-wheel drive. However, if that is still not enough power, Schnitzer has the choice between two power increases for the S58 biturbo in-line six-cylinder (S58B30T0). In the First the M4 then has 590 PS & 750 Nm, In the second Level the customer receives next to 610 PS and 750 Nm also a new, improved one silencer system. Since around April, AC Schnitzer has had two for the G83 Sportendschalldämpfer in stainless steel, ending in two 110mm carbon-coated tailpipes on each side. And AC Schnitzer fans who care more about looks than maximum performance can also order just the tailpipes for connection to the standard exhaust system.

The finishing touch!

To complete the technical optimization, AC Schnitzer has a spring set on offer, which lowers the M4 Cabriolet by approx. 15 to 20 mm at the front and rear. The multi-stage adjustable is reserved for the coupe alone RS coilover suspension, which also allows a higher lowering. And to fill out the wheel arches in a befitting way, AC Schnitzer has two different rim designs, each with two paint finishes. The example shown is the 10×20 inch AC3 cast rim with 285/30R20 tires at the front and rear it's 295/30R20 slippers. As an alternative to the anthracite/silver finish chosen here, which forms a strong contrast to the silver finish, there is also a silver/anthracite variant. The second rim design is the anthracite or two-tone AC1 aluminum rim (Coal Silver), which is also versatile in size 10×20 inches with 285/30 and 295/30 tires.

Individuality also in the interior!

To further personalize the look, AC Schnitzer also has a range of aerodynamic body parts developed for the M4 convertible. Of the front splitter for example, provides a deeper look and increases downforce. Added new ones Bow Side Wings and a so-called design package, the bonnet attachments and essays for the fender includes. The rear can also be equipped with a Carbon diffuser be upgraded. With Protectors for the side skirts and the rear apron as well AC Schnitzer lettering for the flanks, the look is rounded off.

And last but not least, various improvements can also be made in the interior. The highlight is, of course, the massive, wrapped in nappa/Alcantara leather, Sport steering wheel with decorative stitching and gray 12 o'clock marking. The shifter, pedals and key holder are also made of aluminium. Also there is one Black Line Aluminum Cover for the iDrive controller.
