He is today one of the most popular vintage cars from the House of Ferrari. The 328 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) Coupe and the GTS (Gran Turismo Spider) as a convertible. Equipped with a V8 mid-engine, the 3,2 liter engine manages with 199 kW (270 PS) and 304 Nm. accelerate the 328 to 6 km / h in under 100 seconds and reach a top speed of nearly 270 km / h. Not bad for the then entry level. The driving experience is underpinned by the fact that the 328 GTB is practically a textbook sports car. Little weight, a V8, rear-wheel drive and manual transmission ensure that a Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 only sees the taillights. And now the tuner and car enthusiast Mitchel Button (@button_built) has grabbed such a 328 and did it on his own BB3X8 "FDP" created.

And this is probably only a single item at the moment. Button is thinking about getting exactly 30 Restomod copies up. Each of the vehicles is built according to customer requirements and the current car we have already received some information. There is a completely new body made of carbon Kevlar. This is a Widebody kit which means that both the front and the rear axle are significantly wider than the series. This is made possible by the new mudguard in combination with specially adapted aprons in front and behind. The bonnet with central air opening and the Ducktail spoiler lip are also part of the body kit. There are exterior mirrors in the style of 458 GT3 carbon and at the rear, the 328 with a two-piece aluminum diffuser.

Details for the connoisseur, however, are the Ferrari 288 GTO fog lights. The vehicle was of course completely repainted and also sealed with a ceramic Pro coating. And another optical highlight is the beautiful Rotiform X-key DNO wheel set in bronze with black screw connection. The three-piece rims are available on the front axle in the format 17 x 9,5 inches and the rear axle carries stately 18 x 12,5 inches. In this case it is equipped with Toyo R888R tires, which partly disappear into the wheel arches by means of the Accuair air suspension with E-level management control at the push of a button. A look through the small openings in the rims also shows a modified brake system. Installed is a Wilwood system with floating two-piece brake discs for a species-appropriate deceleration. And that has a reason.

the V8 now sends 400 PS to the rear wheels

The performance of the V8 engine has been increased to an incredible 35 RPM, including Bosch K-Jetronic, KMS MD270 Chiptuning, custom throttle and a sports exhaust system from 400 PS to 9.200 PS. In combination with the revised manual transmission an absolute pleasure. And a pleasure is also the interior. Here, the Italian shows with a handmade leather / Alcantara equipment and there is a Momo sports steering wheel, a powder-coated roll bar and two sporty Bride bucket seats. All in all, the tuner leaves no stone unturned and creates an incredible vehicle in the style of the well-known Singer Porsche 911, Only for the purchase price button_built so far no information. That here a stately six-figure amount is to be expected, but of course. Should we receive timely information on the purchase price, there is of course as always an update for this report.
