Katech Tuning gives the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 644 PS

news from the Tuningschmiede Katech from Sorrentino, not far from Detroit in the USA. The newest creation ours Katech presented is a modified one Chevrolet Corvette Z06 which was equipped with the so-called "Katech Track Attack Package". We already know a few details about tuning the Z06. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

  • the power comes from the naturally aspirated LT1-V8 without charging
  • Prices still unknown
  • Standard output 460 PS tuned to 650 PS
  • 427 cu.in. (7 liter) Track Attack LT1 engine
  • Forged crankshaft 4340
  • 2618 pistons and H-shaped rods
  • Catech camshaft
  • Halltech C7 carbon air intake
  • VVT-Limiter
  • Katech AFM delete billet valley cover
  • High lift valve springs
  • High-speed lift
  • Inlet valve seals
  • Exhaust valve seals
  • Titanium valve spring holder
  • C5-R timing chain
  • LT1 long stroke piston
  • Katech CNC-polished heads
