We've seen countless tuning variations of the boxy Suzuki Jimny. Would you like a small excerpt? It exists as Brabus G-Class, as Defender, as Ford Bronco, as Jimny LJ10, as Pickup, as Convertible, as monster truck, as five-door and if desired even with powerful ones Portal axes. Incredible! He is quite simply the perfect candidate for an individual body kit. This also explains the multitude of options that are available for the small all-wheel drive vehicle from Japan. And now it continues! Because next, the Jimny can also be converted into a pseudo-Jeep Cherokee XJ. A kit from the company makes this possible Marvelous. The name "Marvelous" can to German with "fabulous" be translated, which we think is relatively good in terms of the tuning Jimny. Because the result looks really good.
Jeep Cherokee XJ conversion
The Jeep Cherokee XJ was sold in the US between 1983 and 2001 and the front swap leaves no doubt that the little Japanese really adores the big XJ. The new front end features a different grille with six double louvers (similar to Jeep's patented seven-slot design) and the highlight is clearly the square main headlights with separate indicators. The kit also includes new unpainted aprons front and rear and optionally can even fender flares can be ordered in body color in the style of the Jeep Wrangler. We assume that the modifications to the exterior are also compatible with the five-door Jimny, since the modified components do not differ and were carried over by Suzuki from the three-door model.
Also suitable for the five-door?
The conversion continues with a riser kit (+1,5 inches / 38 mm) for vehicles without the fender flares mentioned. If the fenders are installed, then even 3 inches (approx. 8 cm) are feasible. For more off-road capability, there are alloy wheels with Yokohama Mud/Terrain Off-road tires and an optional sports exhaust system with four tailpipes can also be ordered. Under the hood there are side Marvelous however, no changes. Marvelous is based in Yonago, Japan and is already taking orders for the kit.
